9/25 11:30 am. Wind is STIFF. Took off so fast from the dock we nearly left one of the lines behind. Heading northeast up the bay, toward North Haven. There's a deep swell, with the boat doing lots of rising and falling.

9/27 12:33 pm. Sailing is slow and smooth the next day, very quiet, going between North Haven and Vinalhaven. The sky is empty of clouds. We saw 5 porpoises, fins breaking the water, up and down.

9/28 12:20 pm. We landed. We packed. We loaded the car. We helped carry the sails to the storage bin, because it was the last sail of the season. We said good-bye. As usual, we were the last passengers off the boat.
