Bruce Boxleitner Illustrated Filmography Page

Bruce was born in Elgin, IL on May 12, 1950. He graduated from Mount Prospect High School in 1968. Then he studied at the Goodman Theater School (Cert. Acting, '71) in Chicago. From there he acted with the Ivanhoe Theater Company, among others.

3BRUCE BOXLEITNER (Horace Elgin) is recreating a role which he played in both the Chicago Ivanhoe Theatre and Washington D.C. Arena Stage productions of Status Quo Vadis last year. Mr. Boxleitner, who trained at the GoodmanSchool of Drama and appeared on over 13 Goodman Studio productions in two years, has to his credit such roles as Antonio in The Tempest, Eilert Louberg in Hedda Gabler, and Pontheus in The Bacchae. He was a member of the Goodman Professional Children's Touring Company which performed throughout the Chicago area."
