The story brought the Macahan family (now the sons named Luke and Josh)
further on their westward journey, broadcast 2/6,7,13/77, for a total of 6 hours.

 

 

Zeb is involved with Arapaho and Crow Indians, Luke is hunted by a bounty hunter and finds a home with a Simonite non-violent religious sect.

 

Zeb rescues the children who survived a massacre ordered by a certain general, and Luke finds comfort and peace with Erica in the Simonite religious community.

 

Luke thinks he'd like to join the Bruderhof as its 'pig man.' But trouble follows him.

 

Zeb springs him from jail, and they head home.

Kate is romantically involved with a drifting gunfighter, while courted by a Shoshone warrior.
